The App Fair Project: Legal & Government Removal Requests

Government authorities and other parties may submit legal or policy removal requests to legal@appfair.net. This channel covers the App Fair marketplace and its app listings across supported platforms.

Identify the app or listing, the material at issue, the legal or policy basis, the relevant jurisdiction and your contact details and authority to act. Include supporting evidence, any order or reference number and any applicable deadline. Do not attach unlawful material; identify its location instead.

The App Fair reviews requests, verifies authority where appropriate and may seek clarification or a response from the developer. We act on valid legal obligations and take proportionate action under our Trust & Safety Policy, which may include restricting access or removing material. Urgent action may precede notice; disclosure and notice may be limited where law or safety requires.

Affected developers may send a response or request reconsideration to the same address with the relevant reference and supporting information. Applicable law governs any required notices, deadlines and remedies. Intellectual property disputes may be sent directly to the IP channel.
